For many AMYA Class Boats Regional and National Championship Regattas are held each year. New England is in AMYA Region 1. The Back Bay Skippers have hosted two Region 1 Championship Regattas, and one National Championship Regatta. In addition to trophies for these events, winners may also receive chevrons that may be displayed on the sails of their winning boats.
