Once a year the Back Bay Skippers host the Sasquatch Footy Regatta. The regatta is part of the Nor’easter Series of Footy Regattas that are hosted by several New England clubs. The Footy is an AMYA open design class boat.The Sasquatch Trophy has been awarded starting in 2013. No award was made in 2020 due to the pandemic. Individual trophies are given to the top three place finishers.
